Part-time position in PeekskillOffice adjunctThe National Maritime Historical Society is seeking a part-time Office adjunct. Approximately 15 to 20 hours per week.tasks: » Update membership database and prepare reports. » Prepare and send out membership materials and renewals. » Prepare correspondence, labels and assemble membership and appeal mailings. » Provide excellent customer service through answering phones, mailings and emails. » Send out merchandise from the ship’s store. » Prepare email notifications and social media posts. » Update the website. » Assisting with the Society's events. » Additional tasks as needed. Qualifications required » Strong computer expertise – expertise of a CRM » Microsoft 365 » Website practice a plus » Possess excellent oral and written communication expertise. » Must be able to meet strict deadlines and multi-task. » Have exceptional organizational and time management expertise. » Maintain a high level of attention to detail. » Have the capability to work both independently and as part of a team in a small office. » Flexible hours with some flexibility in the work week as needed. » Must be a self-starter and team player who is both courteous and friendly.
