Benefits/Perks: » Includes accrued vacation days, sick days, and holidays. » Participation in 403 (b) » Voluntary Benefits: Short Term Discapability, Life Insurance, Cancer Insurance, Pet Insurance » Discounted memberships: Plum Benefits, NYSC Gym » Pay for work-related eligible commuter expenses with pre-tax dollars Responsibilities Responsibilities: » Responsible for evaluating the patient's level of physical functioning and providing training and/or assistive devices to eliminate or reduce areas of deficit. » Develops a plan of care with patient and caregiver involvement and in collaboration with the nurse, identifying short and long-term goals. » Evaluates, instructs and monitors specific functional exercise programs to increase strength, range of motion, and coordination of upper extremities. » Teaches use of adaptive equipment to the patient, caregiver, and other appropriate health team personnel to assist the patient to achieve maximum independence. » Maintains communication with the physician and other personnel involved in the patient's care, through written reports, attendance at meetings, and confirmed telephone calls. income : Fee for service $75 per visit, $80 for eval Qualifications Qualifications required » Current NYS license to practice as an Occupational Therapist suitable education » Degree from Accredited Institute for Occupational Therapy Skills:
