FOOD SERVICE WORKER/COOK The position is responsible for food preparation and maintaining all aspects of food preparation and clean up in conformity with all health and sanitary codes. RESPONSIBILITIES » Maintain all requirements set forth in the health and sanitary codes » Responsible for operation and upkeep of dishwashing room and equipment » Be responsible for cleanliness of work area and equipment following established cleaning procedures » Keep clean and filled all condiment dispensers » Wash dishes, pots and utensils. » Clean food service areas and equipment as assigned. » Assist in food preparation and prepare meals as assigned. » Prepare tables for meals according to guidelines » Prepare special requests as required. Prepare and pack all meals for scheduled fieldtrips and cookout and provide support as needed. » Serve food EDUCATION and/or practice High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be able to read and write with skill to execute all job tasks. Food Service Worker 1 requires 1 year of practice.
