Job Summary
The Client Support Analyst III provides support and maintenance of complex client technology, software, and services for the Rensselaer community. The Client Support Analyst III works closely with other IT staff to provide training and helps to develop and mentor other analysts

Minimum Qualifications
   » Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or another information systems related field
   » 4 or more significant professional work practice or equivalent years in  Computer Science, IT or another information systems related field,
   » A significant combination of education, training and practice may be substituted for the above qualifications.

Minimum Knowledge, expertise, and Abilities
   » Current and significant support knowledge of common client hardware, software, applications and services commonly in use within higher-ed setting such as computers, phones, Windows and Macintosh operating systems, office suite, design and development, data analysis, and audio-video software, desktop support, consultation, printing, file, license management, asset management and software deployment services
   » High level of knowledge of unique business processes and functions
   » Significant knowledge of common business processes and functions and client needs within Organizations
   » In-depth technical knowledge of common software packages in use within a university setting.
   » capability to analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot issues at a high level
   » capability to develop and deliver training to individuals at all levels
   » capability to develop technical documentation and convey knowledge and technical information to clients

Starting income/Rate
Expected hiring range: $60,000 - $64,500
