Summer Camp Licensed Practical NurseWe are seeking for a Summer Camp Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a beautiful children’s camp near Hopewell Junction!This is a full time, temporary position, with all shifts available. Pay rate is $35 per hour. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) General Requirements: » Current NYS Licensed Practical Nurse License » NYS Driver’s License » EMR practice is required » Pediatrics practice a plus What you'll do as the Summer Camp Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): » Working in an outside environment, superviseing approximately 50 students ages 12-18, including: » Observe and treat children – report any obvious or subtle changes in health » Act as a liaison to all staff, patients, and families regarding all medical care provided » Provide staff with epi-pen, allergy training to ensure needs are met for children with significant health care concerns » Ensure nursing supplies, emergency kits, AEDs and other medical resources are adequately stocked/working Equal Opportunity Statement Applications are considered on the basis of expertise, practice and qualifications without regard to race, age, creed, color, nationality, gender, sexual preference, marital status, military background, discapability or any other legally protected status.
