The dietitian will develop trusting partnerships with their patients, and lgain about patient health concerns, goals, dietary restrictions, and preferences. The dietitian will assess nutritional needs and create a treatment plan to improve nutrition and overall health.Work days: Flexible Shift Start/End Time: Flexible Hours Per Week: 12 Weeks Per Year: 30 Position Title: Dietitian Pay Status and Classification: Non-exempt, Regular Part-time manager: Director of Health Services Position Purpose: To assist students achieve their goals and lead healthier lives. The dietitian will develop trusting partnerships with their patients, and lgain about patient health concerns, goals, dietary restrictions, and preferences. The dietitian will assess nutritional needs and create a treatment plan to improve nutrition and overall health. Essential Responsibilities: » Meet with patients to lgain about their health goals and dietary needs, preferences, and restrictions. » Counsel patients on nutrition and how to form healthy eating and exercise plans. » Develop nutrition/meal plans for patients. » Compiling information and tracking client progress towards their health goals. » Provide up-to-date evidence-located care. » Speak to groups to promote healthy eating habits and good nutrition. » Document the patient's progress in the electronic health record. » Engage in continuing educational programs and attend conferences on the latest food and nutritional science research. » Collaborate with Union's Eating Disorder Team. » Other tasks and projects as assigned. Qualifications required » Bachelor's degree in nutrition. » prosperous completion of the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) exam. » Exceptional communication, problem-solving, public speaking, and listening expertise. » availability to continue training and research to keep current on the latest discoveries and developments in the field. » Strong computer and data entry expertise. » capability to collaborate well with other members of the Wicker Wellness Center Staff. Compensation: The rate for this job offer is $45.50 - $50.50 an hour. Except for functions with a set rate of pay, the wage/income of the finalist selected for this function will be set located on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, practice, education, licenses, specialty, and training.
