CNC MachinistJob Opening: CNC MachinistJob location: Chester, NY Shift: Second Shift Compensation: $28-$32 per hour Job employment Type: Direct Hire We are pursuing a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team on the second shift at our Chester, NY facility. If you have a passion for precision machining and a commitment to quality, we want to hear from you! CNC Machinist Responsibilities: » Set up and operate CNC machines, including MULTICAM 3-Axis Router Tables. » Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. » Program CNC machines using ALPHACAM Router software or comparable systems. » Ensure all produced parts meet quality and dimensional specifications through accurate measurements and inspections. » Troubleshoot and resolve machining or programming issues. » Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance. » Collaborate with team members to improve processes and production efficiency. » Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols. CNC Machinist Qualifications and expertise: » Minimum of a two-year technical degree, apprenticeship, certificate, or equivalent practice in CNC Programming and Machining. » Competence in performing all tasks and responsibilities connected with CNC machining. » Strong capability to interpret and work from mechanical drawings. » practice with MULTICAM 3-Axis Router Tables and ALPHACAM Router software (or comparable systems). » Proficiency in 2D programming (required); familiarity with 3D programming (preferred). » Physical capability to lift items weighing up to 80 lbs. to table or shelf height (up to 6 feet).
