Lifeguard - TemporaryResponsibilities include monitoring swimmers, enforcing rules, and responding to emergencies. Must have current lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications.Lifeguard - Temporary Pay Status and Classification: Non Exempt, temporary part-time Work Job location: this job offer is an onsite function and is not eligible for a hybrid work schedule. manager: Swimming & Diving/Aquatics Director Key Responsibilities: » Supervise swimmers and maintain a vigilant watch over the pool area » Enforce pool rules and safety regulations » Respond quickly and effectively to all emergencies, including rescues and administering first aid/CPR as needed » Conduct routine pool checks » Assist with setting up and maintaining pool equipment--vacuuming, cleaning up the pool deck Qualifications required » Must hold current Lifeguard Certification (Red Cross or equivalent) » CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications required » Strong communication and problem-solving expertise » capability to stay focused and alert for extended periods » Previous lifeguarding practice preferred but not required Compensation: The hourly range for this job offer is $22 per hour. Except for functions with a set rate of pay, the wage/income of the finalist selected for this function will beset located on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, practice, education, licenses, specialty, and training.
