Senior Accountant SONO-TEK CORP Milton, NY, USA SUMMARY: Sono-Tek Corporation, a publicly traded company on NASDAQ, is seeking a Senior Accountant with public company accounting practice. We are seeking for candidates who have 3+ years of significant practice, particularly those with a background in public accounting or audit. this job offer plays a crucial function in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to contribute to a growing company. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: » Manage general accounting functions, including monthly reporting and other related accounting tasks, reporting directly to CFO. » Assist CFO in the preparation of quarterly Form 10-Qs and annual Form 10-Ks. » Support everyday general ledger activities, monthly closings, and year-end audit processes. » Perform monthly financial reporting and account reconciliations. » Coordinate, review, and complete revenue audit documentation as required by auditors all over the year. » Review SG&A monthly expenses for corporate cost centers, providing detailed analysis as needed. » Conduct special financial analysis projects and support other financial tasks as assigned. EDUCATION AND practice: » Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. » 3+ years of significant practice, with a focus on public company accounting or auditing. » CPA certification or equivalent practice is highly desirable. » Manufacturing industry practice is a plus. SPECIFIC expertise, expertise, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC: » practice in public company accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. » Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. » Self-motivated with strong learning capabilities and the capability to work independently. » Excellent communication expertise and attention to detail. » Demonstrated analytical expertise in interpreting financial data. » capability to manage workloads effectively and solve problems with minimal supervision.
