Learning & Development adjunct

Overview

Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Learning & Development adjunct. Primary Function: provide administrative and technical support to the Organizational Learning & Development team. Leverage organizational and industry technology to ensure accuracy and efficiency in learning program administration and participant practice. Responsible for streamlining processes, anticipating needs, and proactively covering issues to support the effectiveness of the team.
Responsibilities
   » Coordinate all applicable training sessions for all Credit Union staff. Work with Organizational Learning & Developmentdepartment, management, and employees to coordinate and communicate training enrollmentdetails.
   » Prepare and disseminate all correspondence related to training (i.e. e-mail notification to managers, weekly training confirmations, welcome communications, class invitations, pre-work, cancellations, rescheduling notifications, post-session surveys, etc.). Responsible for tracking participant attendance, updating transcript/calendars, monitoring course enrollment and notifying management of available/cancelled classes.
   » Provide administrative support to Organizational Learning & Development (i.e. maintain department calendar and meeting minutes, provide support during learning events, answer department phone and email, specialized training status reports, etc.). Act as a liaison between department leaders and stakeholders.
   » Responsible for administration of scheduling via related software; reserve conference rooms/classrooms, create and update student lists and update and finalize quarterly reports.  Perform administrative and maintenance tasks within the learning management system and talent acquisition software.
   » supervise incoming mail, department files, department purchase orders and supply requisitions. Receive and verify Organizational Learning & Development vendor bills and prepare the necessary documentation for payment. Manage receipts and applicable monthly reconciliation/reimbursement processes.
   » Ensure accurate and timely completion of I-9 forms for all new hires, utilizing the E-Verify system. Partner with HR Specialist to maintain compliance with federal regulations and to stay abreast of changes in external work authorization policy.  
   » Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained expertise. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
   » High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) certificate, or state authorized high school equivalent certificate required
   » Minimum 3 Years Providing support in an office environment practice required
   » Minimum 1 year practice supporting Learning & Development preferred
