Facilities Maintenance Technician 3Ensures a safe and clean environment for all program participants and staff. Performs everyday inspections and repairs as assigned that involve basic expertise in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, use of hand and electric tools, wall repair and painting, and appliance repairs. Leads work groups as established for temporary and permanent projects. Performs all assignments with professionalism expected from all department employees.QUALITY OF LIFE EXPECTATION FOR ALL STAFF: To actively further the agencys mission to optimize quality of life (QofL) for individuals served by monitoring and implementing systems that promote the QofL of the individuals in our care. Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.50 hourly; located on years of practice. RESPONSIBILITIES: » Performs assigned tasks efficiently and in a professional workmanlike manner. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve maintenance problems that arise. Provide preventative maintenance services in conformity with prescribed schedules and procedures. » Ensures prompt corrective measures for all identified hazards. » Ensures systems are functioning properly. » Ensures adherence to the following Department standards. » Participate in mandatory rotating maintenance on-call and snow removal. » Responsible for reporting and/or responding to events as requested. » Performs all activities to ensure the safety or program participants and staff. » Coordinates with Health & Safety to ensure follow up services are communicated. Qualifications General Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent with sufficient expertise and practice to satisfactorily perform the responsibilities of the position.
