Production AssociateOur client, a luxury skincare company near Red Hook, NY, is seeking a Production Associate to join their team. The prosperous candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating production lines, monitoring equipment and materials to ensure quality and safety standards are met, inspecting finished goods, and packaging products for distribution.Production Associate Qualifications required » Prior practice working in a kitchen, bakery, or food manufacturing environment highly preferred » capability to operate machinery and utilize other food equipment, including knives, in a safe manner » capability to maneuver pallets, operate forklift, and other equipment as needed » capability to lift 35 pounds repeatedly and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach » capability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours during shifts Benefits once hired: » Health, dental, vision benefits » PTO » Paid Bank Holidays » Predictable working schedule, with daytime hours and limited to no weekends » Anniversary bonus » Exclusive Employee Discounts Production Associate Responsibilities: » Set up and operate production lines to meet everyday production goals » Monitor equipment and material running through machinery to ensure quality and safety standards are adhered to » Inspect all materials and finished goods to ensure products meet quality standards » Package products for distribution » Box, palletize, and label outbound shipments according to specifications » Pick, pack, and prep wholesale shipments according to retailer specifications » Ensure machinery, workspaces, and inventory storage areas are clean and orderly Pay: $18 per hour We offer full time and part time openings and this is a temp-to-hire opportunity.
