Facilities include golf, five racquet sport venues, boathouse, fitness facility, swimming complex, ice skating rink and two architecturally renowned clubhouses, all of which provide the diverse membership with opportunities for social interaction. Summary: The locker room attendant is a motivated and hospitable “people'' person who is looking to deliver exceptional practices as a part of a team. Being clean, organized, independently motivated and having an attention to detail is a necessity for this job offer. Coordination and communication between the members and colleagues is crucial for this job offer. All tasks of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of care & hospitality. tasks & Responsibilities: ? Shoe shining; washing & folding of towels; ? emptying trash, dusting & vacuuming the locker room & main areas of Clubhouse; clean & deodorize bathrooms; replenish locker room supplies; polish/clean furniture, fixtures, windows, window ledges; mop floors ? De-lime &de-calcify shower dividers as well as sink faucets & shower heads ? Assist with the general cleaning of the public & back of house areas of Golf Clubhouse; which includes but not limited to: cleaning member & employee bathrooms; emptying trash in employee areas including offices; dusting & vacuuming the main areas; cleaning windows both inside & outside; polish/clean furniture, fixtures, & window ledges; mop floors; sweeping outdoor patios ? Maintain & assign locker space issue locker keys ? Assist management with the inventories of all cleaning & locker room supplies ? Clean, organize, & maintain locker room supply store rooms ? Set-up of coffee &continental breakfast for the members in the mornings on Weekends ? Cleans & stock bathrooms on the golf course with supplies ? Launders & folds all towels, linens & on-course slipcovers as presented by team members ? Report all safety & security issues to a manager immediately ? During off season, assist the maintenance team with projects across both club locations This job description in no way states or implies that this job offer is limited to the aforementioned tasks. Positive attitude & excellent communication expertise with attention to detail ? Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work varied shifts which include weekdays, evenings, weekends & holidays ? Must be able to work within an empowered & fast paced facility ? Organizational consciousness & team oriented ? capability to work independently ? Hospitality & seasonal work practice preferred, but not required Compensation & Benefits: ? Competitive Hourly Rate ? Golfing privilege on Mondays and after 4 on Tuesdays ? Eligible for Employee Holiday Fund ? Eligible for ALL benefits as outlined in the Employee Handbook by classification Working Conditions: As a locker room attendant you may be a full time or part time hourly position. It is expected that you may have to work on evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Physical General Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to prosperously perform the essential functions of this job. ? May need to work in wet or humid conditions, near moving parts, near fumes or airborne particles, in extreme non-weather heat, & in extreme non-weather cold ? Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, use hands & fingers, reach with hands & arms, talk and/or hear ? Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, & depth perception ? Employees must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs multiple times per day, & push a cart weighing up to 100lbs ? Expect to be on their feet for up to 6 hours at at time ?
