School Nurse Qualifications required » Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York. » practice in pediatric or school nursing is preferred. » Strong communication and organizational expertise. » capability to work independently and as part of a team. School Nurse Responsibilities: » Provide comprehensive nursing care to students, including first aid, emergency care, and management of chronic health conditions. » Conduct health assessments and maintain health records for all students. » Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to promote student health and safety. » Educate students and staff on health-related topics.
