Teaching & Learning Analytics CoordinatorReporting to the Director, Teaching and Learning Analytics, this job offer will support the University using data and research to drive decisions, improve curricula, instructional methods, and learning environments. this job offer assists in continually improving the implementation of a new student success model framework, coordinates on metrics and reporting of the data review model, identifies trends and predictive analytics, and coordinates student success collaboration meetings. This is a full-time hybrid function with a minimum of two required days at Excelsior's home office of 7 Columbia Circle, Albany, NY, with the remainder of the days worked in the house.tasks and Responsibilities: » Support the Director, Teaching and Learning Analytics in supporting the University Strategic plan. » Coordinate the iteration and implementation of the student success collaboration model. » Under the leadership abilities of the Director, Teaching and Learning Analytics, identify instructional and student metrics and methods that support student success. » Identify and test the range of data analytics services and tools available to inform decisions about the student academic practice. » Collaborate with academic units and the Director, to help understand and prioritize the needs of academic affairs for descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive insights. » Create reporting cadence and engaging presentations that use data visualization and storytelling to inform decisions. » Maintain project files, organization of meetings, and monitoring follow-up actions. Minimum Qualifications and Skills » Bachelor’s degree or higher » 3+ years of working practice, focused on teaching and learning and preferable practice using data to drive instruction » Advanced technical competency with Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Data visualization and storytelling tools (ex: Power BI). Capable of operating in pre-configured business intelligence/reporting tool » skills with formulas, pivot charts/tables, data management & reporting » Tech savvy, capability to navigate & lgain new platforms/programs with some degree of self-initiative » Excellent analytical skills and capability to analyze large datasets, with capability to clean data and correct errors, and interpret, analyze, and develop recommendations. » capability to create presentations that communicate complex ideas effectively, with practice structuring data to help tell a story » Excellent project management skills and capability to meet deadlines » Service mindset and is results-focused with a strong work ethic » practice working with quantitative and qualitative research methods and design Skills:
