Job Summary The Graphic Designer creates visual text and imagery concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers via advertising, logos, posters, digital ads, emails, social media and website platforms. The Designer transforms complicated, statistical data into visuals and graphics, making complex ideas more accessible. Under the guidance of Division of SCER leadership abilities, the Designer creates and presents their concepts, revises artwork as needed and produces final files that are compatible with print and/or digital production specifications. Minimum Qualifications » Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field » 3 years of significant practice including: » practice in working with print vendors and familiar with printing processes. » practice using Adobe Creative Suite for production of print graphics and digital imagery. » practice with design techniques and principles, including typography and color theory. » A robust portfolio of work demonstrating previous design and client practice, including the development of creative marketing materials and content. A significant combination of practice, training, and education may be substituted for a degree. Preferred Qualifications » Master's Degree in Graphic Design or related field » Web design and social media content creation. » CRM practice.
