Listing description
The adjunct Director of Career Services works with the Director to develop and coordinate all aspects of the Office of Career Services operations, including career education and counseling for employment/internship/graduate school. 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
   » Assist students and alumni in identifying and aligning academics and practices to professional goals through individual counseling on career education and employment
   » Create and develop workshops and career-related programs, including new initiatives on 21st-century career innovative tactics, utilizing technology and cutting-edge marketing tools for effective and prosperous student and alumni professional results.
   » Deliver and promote career education presentations for classrooms, academic campus community groups, and virtual audiences covering professional writing for resume/cover letters and the employment and post-graduate process, such as interviews, networking, and job searching or graduate school.
   » Develop, organize, and collaborate with other campus stakeholders and student associations to promote career-related initiatives (e.g., Internship and Job Fairs, Career Carnival, Career Roundtables, Major Specific expertise Share Career Sessions, and other Professional Development Events)
   » Serves as a liaison to Student groups, Clubs, and Associations.
   » Collaborate with Office of Alumni Relations to develop and manage alumni-linked programs and resources including Career Advisory Network, Professional Connections, Networking, and career information sharing events.
   » Conduct outreach/marketing initiatives to the College campus community at large, maximizing social media platforms, and in-person sessions sharing value-added expertise and expertise.
   » Collaborating with the College Marketing department to manage the Career Center's presence on social media platforms.
   » Assist with the continuing development of the Career Center Handbook and Website
   » Hire, train, and supervise Graduate adjuncts.
 

General Requirements:
   » Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in business, human resource management, counseling, psychology, educational administration, career development, or related field.
   » At least one year's practice working in college career services, a career recruitment environment, and/or job-search counseling.
   » Demonstrated capability and practice counseling/advising/coaching students and professionals on topics including career planning, resume, cover letter, internships, interviewing, networking, job search, graduate school, etc.
   » Demonstrated proficiency in designing and delivering presentations.
   » practice planning and executing programs/events.
   » practice in outreach, marketing, and networking/relationship building
   » Possess a dynamic and professional demeanor, strong work ethic, time management expertise, and capability to work collaboratively
   » Strong interpersonal and communications expertise with demonstrated capability and practice in developing positive collaborative relationships with the College's internal and external stakeholders
   » Intermediate level computer expertise using a windows located operating system, specifically MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
   » Basic expertise of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; availability to lgain new programs and applications
   » Must be willing and able to conduct presentations and attend career-related programs outside of regularly scheduled work hours.

Additional Information:
Full time, Full Year.  Monday-Friday.
income Range:  $40,500-$45,000
