Behavior Support Floor managerJOB DESCRIPTIONAs a Behavior Support Floor manager, you will ensure the safety of the Upper School or Lower School. You will provide floor supervision to Behavioral Support Staff. You will report to the Dean of students and will work onsite.Responsibilities: » Coordinate everyday and long term assignments of Behavior Specialists all over the school. » Communicate with leadership abilities team regarding significant incidents and interventions. » Support and correct behavior support staff interactions and interventions with students. » Ensure that behavior support staff follow school and agency procedures while working with students. » Ensure that behavior support staff follow school and agency policies » Coordinate with treatment teams and families regarding behavioral concerns that are affecting the milieu and academic programming needs of the program. » Help design and implement treatment services for children in collaboration with students, educators, administrators, and clinicians. » Assist and educate staff with implementation of crisis intervention work, conflict resolution, and mediation strategies all over the school. » Be a school liaison with residential staff to ensure consistency of care and support of students across programs. » Participate in implementation of PBIS Tier II and Tier III student plans. » Collaborate with all members of the school and clinical treatment team to ensure continuing communication and consistency of interventions and treatment for students. » Ensure that all reporting forms are completed and returned to the appropriate source. » Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding student information observing agency, state, and federal regulators. » Maintain CPR and First Aid certifications » Maintain TCI training Requirements and suitable education » High School Diploma or GED required » 7+ years of practice required Benefits » Health care package: medical, dental, and vision » Tuition reimbursement » Paid time off » Holiday Pay » 401 (K) plan » Life Insurance » Loan repayment assistance » Free training/CEU opportunities About Northern RiversAt Northern Rivers Family of Services, we work together to make a difference in our client's lives.
