JOB DESCRIPTION

Clinical manager, Per Diem
As a Supervising Clinician for Licensure, you will work closely with the avoidance Clinician and the Program Coordinator to provide clinical supervision for licensure to Schenectady avoidance clinicians. The Schenectady avoidance Program is dedicated to helping parents, caregivers and children succeed by drawing on their natural strengths while covering the risks that impact safety, permanency and well-being. Services are provided in the home, school and community. You will report to the Senior Director of avoidance Services and with the potential of onsite or remote work (to be decided with your manager), with a typical schedule of 2-4 hours per pay period.
Responsibilities:
   » Provide clinical supervision up to assigned avoidance clinicians for up to 8 hours per month and provide guidance in clinical matters.
   » Review and sign off on assigned clinicians' NYSED licensure paperwork in conformity with NYSED guidelines.
   » Review program notes, assessments, and FASPs as needed and provide constructive feedback.
   » Collaborate with the Program Coordinator and Sr. Director to ensure a seamless exchange of information and clinical support.
Requirements and suitable education
   » LCSW and capability to receive and retain approval from NYSED as a qualified manager to MHC-LP/MSW-LP or LMSW level clinicians.
   » practice in the child-welfare, mental health or juvenile justice systems required.
   » A valid NYS driver's license
