The ideal Machine Mechanic candidate will have the following expertiseet/practice: » practice in the Food/Beverage industry would be a plus » Familiar with all types of American metric fasteners, nuts, bolts, pipe thread » Familiar with power tools such as grinders, portaband, drill motors, hydraulic press, skilsaw, pipe threader, soldering iron, sockets, wrenches, hydraulic jacks, claw hoists, grease guns, chen breakers, taps, drills, gear pullers, bearing pullers, hack saws, punches, chisels, reamers, veneer or calipers, force gauges, sealer gauges, etc. » Working expertise of trouble shooting pneumatic & hydraulic systems & components » General schematic & blueprint reading expertise The Machine Mechanic will have the following responsibilities: » Replace broken or worn out bearings » Replace bad conveyor shafts, sprockets, chains, bolts » Capable of oiling and greasing all machinery » Knows how to Lace Bolts, change and/or check oil levels in all types of gear boxes » Be capable of changing or repairing pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders or actuators » Be capable of wiring/charging single phase, 3 phase motors » Capable of replacing all types of solenoid valves » Capable of replacing simple sensors such as photo eyes, LIMH switches, flow switches, light switches, light bulbs, and fluorescent lamps » Capable of using an ammeter or a volt ohm meter for minor electrical trouble shooting » Capable of rebuilding cylinders, linear actuators, butler l/v valves, mechanical seals, solenoid valves » Capable of following written & oral instructions Equal Opportunity Statement Applications are considered on the basis of expertise, practice and qualifications without regard to race, age, creed, color, nationality, gender, sexual preference, marital status, military background, discapability or any other legally protected status.
