Junior Analyst, Financial Planning & AnalysisOverviewHudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Junior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis. Primary Function: Responsible for supporting profitcapability methodology, measurement, reporting, and analysis to support all lines of business. Scope to include all levels or profitcapability including product, member, organization/branch and account level. Develop and implement modeling techniques to forecast financial and product performance. Responsibilities » Compile and analyze revenue and cost information to be used in product pricing, ROI, and financial impact statements. » Maintain profitcapability tools and assist in annual evaluation. » Prepare reports to communicate accurate findings and recommendations that are useful and significant. » Support in the credit union’s reporting and analysis capabilities. » Collect financial data and other significant information from stakeholders. » Collaborate directly with Finance Division and stakeholders to provide financial insights. » Assist in retrospective review of FP&A models and analyses. » Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained expertise. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned. » Embrace and apply HVCU’s guiding principles to all activities and responsibilities.
