Accounting ClerkAccounting Clerk Position Available in Saugerties, NYPosition: Accounting Clerk Job location: Saugerties, NY Type: Temp to Perm Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Compensation: $20 - $26 per hour function Overview: We are seeking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis. this function is perfect for someone who is proficient in Excel and has a solid knowledge of basic accounting concepts. If you have at least one year of accounting practice and are looking for a full-time opportunity with the potential for permanent placement, we want to hear from you! Accounting Clerk Responsibilities: »Data Entry: Utilize Excel for data entry tasks related to sales tax return and HUT/IFTA (trucking taxes) preparation. »Filing: Organize and maintain financial documents and records. »Accounts Receivable: Process credit card payments and follow up with customers regarding payment plans. Accounting Clerk Qualifications required » Proficiency in Excel, including data entry and basic formulas. » knowledge of basic accounting concepts, such as the difference between accounts receivable and accounts payable. » Minimum of one year of practice in an accounting function. » Strong attention to detail and organizational expertise.
