The College of Saint Rose invites applications and nominations for an adjunct Professor of Management in the Huether School of Business, beginning August 2023. 
Readying students to excel in every business function in any organization, the Huether School of Business offers programs in a wide variety of disciplines, from management and accounting to finance and marketing. Offering undergraduate degrees and the Master of Business Administration, the Huether School is accredited by ACBSP.
Responsibilities will include teaching 12 credits (3-4 courses) per semester of undergraduate and graduate courses in Management from among the following courses:
BUS 362 / MBA 582: Human Resource Management
BUS 363:  Labor and Employment Law
BUS 364:  Organizational Staffing
BUS 400:  Contemporary Issues in Human Resources
BUS 412: Compensation and Benefits
Other courses in the Management discipline as needed.
Additionally, responsibilities include contributing to the continuing development and refinement of the Human Resources concentration within the Management program, engaging in scholarship, attending internal and external events applicable to the College and the candidate's academic discipline, academic advising, program assessment, curriculum development, and participation in Department, School, and College committees. 

General Requirements:
The prosperous candidate will have a Ph.D. or DBA from an accredited program in Management, or a closely related academic field, with a focus in Human Resources, at the start date on January 9th or August 14th, 2023.
An ABD from an accredited program in Management, or a closely related academic field, with a focus in Human Resources, will be considered if the degree will be completed within 1 year from start date. 
Additional requirements include a minimum of two semesters of prosperous college level teaching practice in Human Resources (from among these content areas:  Human Resources Management, Compensation and Benefits, Labor and Employment Law, Staffing, Diversity Equity and Inclusion) as instructor of record, a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching, and a record of scholarly work or professional impact in the field of Human Resources management, superior written and oral communication expertise and, if selected to advance, a prosperous demonstration of teaching capability and scholarship during the on-campus interview.
