Listing description The Liberty Partnerships Program (LPP) is a collaboration involving SUNY Orange, the Newburgh Enlarged City School District (NFA Main/North High Schools, Heritage/South Middle Schools) and the Boys and Girls Club of Newburgh. As a New York State Education Department grant-funded initiative, the Liberty Partnerships Program is a comprehensive academic excellence program targeted at both urban and rural, middle and high school students. The program's purpose is to ensure that youth of Liberty Partnerships Program graduate from high school and enter post-secondary education and the workforce as highly competent and compassionate young adults. SUNY Orange is currently seeking a part-time Administrative adjunct for the Liberty Partnerships Program. The Administrative adjunct has a primary function in assisting the Liberty Partnerships Director with organization, management, and functionality of the office. this job offer will report directly to the Liberty Partnerships Program Director. Some tasks and responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient office operations. Additionally, this job offer will support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. this job offer will handle confidential and time sensitive material. The Liberty Partnerships Administrative adjunct will communicate primarily via phone and email ensuring that all inquiries are addressed promptly. this function may also direct and lead the work of others in the office. The Administrative adjunct will also handle clerical and organizational tasks including but not limited to; file organizing, scheduling appointments, assisting other staff members, and drafting correspondences or messages. this job offer will also work with spreadsheets, create presentations and reports and manage program databases. This is a Monday through Thursday, part-time position that offers day-time to evening work hours. this function will be required to travel between campuses and other sites as needed. Evening and weekend flexibility for program events as needed is a must. General Requirements: Education & practice Required: Minimum of a High School Diploma with two years of practice in customer service, reception, or an office environment OR an Associate's degree with one year of practice in customer service, reception, or an office environment. practice working with diverse populations.
