Ethan Allen's client, a dynamic restaurant specializing in burgers, fries, and shakes, is actively seeking a skilled and enthusiastic General Manager to join their team at the Poughkeepsie location. Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities: As the General Manager, your function extends beyond traditional management tasks. You will: »Lead and Mentor: Foster a positive, efficient, and enjoyable work environment by leading and mentoring your team. »Ensure Safety and Quality: Uphold food safety and quality standards, maintain clean and sanitary conditions in work and guest spaces, ensure team and guest safety, and strictly adhere to COVID-19 protocols. »Deliver Exceptional Service: Ensure high-quality, welcoming, and efficient service for our guests. »Supervise and Train: Lead, train, and supervise adjunct Team Leaders, Captains, Kitchen Managers, and Team Members in order taking, cooking, and food preparation. »Independent Shift leadership abilities: Independently lead shifts to maintain smooth operations. »supervise everyday Operations: Ensure proper opening, closing, and everyday operations are executed seamlessly. »Support everyday Food Prep: Support Captains and Kitchen Managers in the oversight of everyday food preparation. »Manage Cleaning and Maintenance: Support Captains and Kitchen Managers in the oversight of weekly cleaning and maintenance procedures. »Financial Responsibility: Be accountable for hitting COGS, labor, and profitcapability targets, managing the restaurant P&L effectively. »Training and Development: Train team members in station procedures as needed to enhance their expertise. »Restaurant P&L Management: Manage the restaurant P&L to ensure financial targets are met. »Report to Director of Operations: Work closely with the Director of Operations and report on operational performance. »Other Responsibilities: Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary to contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.
