TEMPORARY ADMINISTRATIVE adjunct - FACILITIES SUPPORT SERVICES

Work Days: Monday-Friday

Temporary Administrative adjunct - Facilities Support Services
Pay Status and Classification: Non-exempt, temporary. This is a 2-3 month position with a mid-January start date. this job offer is an on campus position.
manager: adjunct Director Facilities - Business Manager
Position Purpose: Performs administrative tasks to assist the Facilities department in processing incoming requests; disseminates information and forwards to appropriate staff.
Essential Responsibilities and tasks:
   »Facilities Services Support: Trains and instructs student employees on routing inquiries using phone, radio, email and work orders. Acts as key contact for all service requests i.e. elevator malfunction, pest control, etc.
   »Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manages billing reports for projects, vandalism, biohazards, inventory, fuel distribution and other miscellaneous internal billing for accurate accounting of labor and materials on a monthly basis. Reviews invoices for accuracy. Coordinates the approval process and tracks payment status.
Qualifications required
   » Associates Degree in a business-related field with a minimum 5 years of practice in an office environment and/or a combination of significant education, training, certifications, and/or work practice.
   » capability to appropriately determine emergency from non-emergency work is essential.
   » Excellent customer service, communication and organizational expertise.
   » capability to stay focused in a busy environment with many interruptions while producing quality work.
   » capability to lift 10 lbs. is required.
   » Highly proficient in network systems, enterprise systems, and MS Windows environment.
   » Offers to support colleagues
   » Able to support, contribute to, and strengthen a vibrant, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community of students, alumni, faculty, and fellow professionals.

Compensation
The rate for this job offer is $19.00 - $21.00 per hour. Except for functions with a set rate of pay, the wage/income of the finalist selected for this function will be set located on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, practice, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College's good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
