adjunct Professor of Computer EngineeringThe Department of Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering at Union College invites applications for the tenure-track position of adjunct Professor of Computer Engineering, beginning September 1, 2025. Review of applications will begin on January 1, 2025 and continue until the position is filled.Excellent candidates in all areas of Computer Engineering will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with backgrounds or research interests in cybersecurity, computer networks, and communications. A Ph.D. in Computer Engineering or a closely related field is required. We welcome applications from candidates traditionally underrepresented in Computer Engineering. Candidates close to completing their doctoral thesis at the start of employment are also welcome to apply. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate courses in computer networks and digital communications, technical electives in the candidate's areas of skills, and supervision of senior capstone projects. candidates with a strong background in collaborative undergraduate teaching and/or with interdisciplinary research interests that intersect with arts and humanities are strongly encouraged to apply.
