Join a community minded organization!Program ManagerThe Program Manager will work under the direction and supervision of our Agricultural GAPs & New Farmer Educator providing strategic development, planning, conducting, and evaluating educational programs in Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) and Food Safety Practices to farm career advancement and farm business ownership for Spanish speaking farmers all over the Hudson Valley region. this job offer will be responsible for triage and outreach to new farmers. Will develop program objectives and plans reflecting funder goals. Must be Bilingual in Spanish, speaking & written. Teach innovative appropriate educational programming and activities in support of the Small Farms Program to include, but not limited to: Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), Food Safety and Natural Resources. This is a full time, 40 hours per week, benefits eligible position. Bacheolor's degree in agriculture, FOod Sciences, Education, Biology, Natural Resources, or related field with one-year significant work practice. Must be able to work with diverse audiences and maintain cultural sensitivity.
