Senior leadership abilities positionDirector of Residential ServicesWraparound Services of the Hudson Valley has a 72-year history of providing quality services to individuals with disabilities all over the Hudson Valley. Our Counsel of Quality leadership abilities (CQL) accredited programs provide person centered planning focused on enriching the lives of every individual participating in our services.At this time, we have an opening for an practiced professional to serve as the Director of Residential Services providing oversight and leadership abilities to our six community located residential programs. The Director must possess the capacity to: » Motivate and inspire our front line and management staff. » Ensure that every person participating in our six residential programs receives quality person centered services as detailed in their service plan. » Participate as a member of WSHV executive leadership abilities team. » Hire facilitate on-boarding of quality staff consistent with the mission of the agency. » Coordinate admissions and discharge processes to maintain residential census » Ensure staff documentation is completed consistent with NYS OPWDD and HHS Federal requirements. » Keep apprised of all regulations. Inform and train staff on regulatory changes. » Ensure that all residences provide services that are in compliance with OPWDD mandates. » Participate in internal and external program audits using the results to enhance program services. » Work with our financial services team ensure billing is on time and accurate. » Recommend, maintain and monitor budgets for all residential programs. » Represent the agency at agency and community located meetings. » Coordinate after hours support as needed and supervise the on call schedule. Qualifications Required Include: » Master’s Degree in a Human Services field with 5 years of OPWDD residential program management practice or » A Bachelor’s degree and ten years’ OPWDD practice five of which must be in a ICF, IRA or Supportive IRA. this job offer offers excellent benefits to include: Medical, dental and vision insurance after 2 months; life insurance and LTD; employee referral bonuses; tuition assistance and employer contribution to retirement plan (no employee contribution required) after one year.
