Job Summary The Registered Nurse will facilitate the organization and operation of the outpatient program at the Student Health Center to include initial contact, obtaining vital signs and coordinating patient flow. The Registered Nurse uses nursing expertise to conduct health and behavioral assessments, make referrals, and advise students in a developmentally appropriate manner. Minimum Qualifications » Professional Certification in NYS licensed Registered Nurse and BLS Certified » Associate degree in nursing from an accredited program » New York State licensed RN » Three (3) years of practice in an emergency medicine, ambulatory care, family practice or other busy outpatient setting is required. » practice with young adults/adolescents is required. candidates must meet stated minimum education and practice requirements.
