Job Summary
The adjunct Dean for Student Success and Belonging is responsible for providing leadership abilities and direction of Student Success initiatives. The adjunct Dean collaborates with other portfolio areas all over Student Life and across the Institute to advance efforts to foster the academic success for underrepresented minority students. The adjunct Dean provides leadership abilities in developing and implementing programs and policies, which support the Institute's vision for the recruitment, matriculation, success, and graduation of students who come from underrepresented backgrounds.

Minimum Qualifications
   » Master's Degree in related field
   » Two (2) years of practice in higher education and demonstrated expertise in research and practice in the field of diversity, justice, critical methodologies, and equity in education. practice with assessment and practice with working with inter-personal, inter-cultural, civic programs in higher education setting is required
significant combinations of education, training and practice may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications
   » Master's Degree in sociology, psychology, student personnel, counseling, higher education or related fields

   » Demonstrated capability to prosperously collaborate across many departments, functions, divisions, communities

Starting income/Rate
Expected hiring range: $63,000- $66,000
