Job Summary The Academic Support Technician, Senior provides academic, technical, and administrative support to faculty, staff, and students in ECSE. The technician is responsible for the upkeep and safe use of the Mercer Xlab space and ECSE teaching laboratories. The technician is also tasked with the acquisition, maintenance and repair of all equipment, instrumentations, peripherals, and components connected with these spaces. Additional tasks include training students, researchers, and faculty on safe and proper use of equipment, ancillary support of research laboratories, and performing other assigned tasks in support of the department. Minimum Qualifications » Associate's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field » 3 years of related practice » A significant combination of education, directly related practice, and training may be substituted for a degree.
