Clinician/Social Worker, SATPJOB DESCRIPTIONClinician/Social Worker, Sexual Abuse Treatment ProgramNorthern River is seeking a Master Level Clinician for The Sexual Abuse Treatment Program (SATP) at Northeast Parent & Child Society to provide assessment and treatment to child victims of sexual abuse and non-offending parents. The Sexual Abuse Treatment Program helps children and non-offending family members in Schenectady County heal from the damaging effects of child sexual abuse. The program's goal is to reduce the trauma practiced by each family member and to help the family adjust and reorganize in a manner to help ensure the healthy development and continuing protection of the child. What a Master Level Clinician in our SATP program can expect: » Providing individual and family therapy to child victims of sexual abuse and their families » Participating in and/or conducting sexual abuse evaluations » Preparing for and providing expert witness testimony in Family Court » Completing paperwork properly and within the agency, county, and state guidelines » Utilizing the NYS OCFS connections database for all record-keeping » Ensure the coordination of services with Schenectady County DSS, service providers, and collaterals involved with each youth and his/her family » Services are office-located Work Schedule : » 40 hours per week, which includes one evening shift.
