Listing description PROSPERAR at SUNY Orange has provided our college community with a wonderful opportunity to Accelerate and amplify our Guided Pathways/SOEX work with targeted strategies identified to increase the support and success of all students, and particularly our growing Hispanic student population. The PROSPERAR Coordinator of Learning Pathways is responsible for representing the PROSPERAR Program and Center for Student Success (CSS) in a welcoming, positive, and professional manner. While primarily located on the Middletown campus, the PROSPERAR Coordinator of Learning Pathways will work collaboratively with the other CSS and PROSPERAR staff members, tutors, and coaches. this job offer will primarily report to the PROSPERAR Title V Program Director but will also collaborate with the Director of the Center for Student Success to provide direct support to the CSS tutors and students who use its services. The PROSPERAR Coordinator of Learning Pathways ensures students have access to CSS, PROSPERAR, and college-wide resources. Working in a team environment, the PROSPERAR Coordinator of Learning Pathways will work to ensure that operations run efficiently and transparently while also taking initiative to develop and enhance processes and procedures to achieve program goals and PROSPERAR activity. this job offer may require travel to the Middletown and Newburgh campuses and other sites, as needed. General Requirements: Education Required: Associate's degree or higher. practice Required: practice with the development of effective study expertise and student self-efficacy. practice using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Google Suites (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.), as well as practice with early intervention and/or student success software; strong verbal and written communication expertise; strong organization expertise; demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects. practice in report generation and the collection and organization of data for reporting purposes. Preferred expertise, expertise, Abilities and Worker Characteristics: » Familiar with best practices in tutoring and learning support » practice with Starfish student success tool » practice teaching or tutoring in secondary and/or higher education » managery practice » practice with educational technologies and software and their integration into traditional instructional methods » capability to effectively establish and maintain working relationship with supervising personnel, coworkers, all constituents and the public » Perform well under pressure, within time constraints, with a high degree of accuracy, diplomacy and confidentiality » capability to coordinate work flow while dealing with multiple projects, semester cycles and various deadlines. » capability to present complex information and data in coherent fashion » Must be able to travel between the college's two campuses and other sites » Bilingual expertise; Spanish.
