Special Education TeacherSpecial Education TeacherSpecial Education TeacherClifton Park $4,000 sign-on bonus Monday – Friday; 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. School year and six-week summer program. Integrated and Self-contained classrooms, ages 3-5. NYS Certification required in Special Education OR Students with Disabilities Birth to Grade 2. Rate of pay will reflect education and practice. Some responsibilities include: » Special education teacher works collaboratively with general education teacher in an integrated classroom. » Classroom teachers work collaboratively with speech, occupational and physical therapy providers to assure a cohesive educational program. » Classrooms follow the standards for New York State Next Generation Learning Standards.
