Job Summary The Locksmith is responsible for making and issuing keys, and repairing and coring locks. The Locksmith participates in the rotating on call schedule for the Access Control shop. Minimum Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent • Three years practice in the repair/installation and selection of locking systems and related hardware significant combinations of education, training and practice may be considered. Preferred Qualifications Minimum expertise, expertise, and Abilities • Thorough expertise of key codes and core combinations • Excellent customer relation expertise • capability to work independently or as a team member • Self-starter, continuous learner and rapidly adapts to technological changes • capability to use a personal computer (Outlook and job specific software) • Organizes and completes jobs safely and accurately Shift Business Hours: Monday - Friday. Rotating on-call schedule for afterhours/weekends is required. Starting income/Rate Expected hiring range: $24.50- $27.00 Pay transparency disclosure: The selected candidate's income will be determined located on factors that include the available budget, internal equity, and the final candidate's qualifications, practice, education and other job-related credentials.
