adjunct Coach - TemporarySupports the Interim Head Coach in all aspects of running a competitive collegiate soccer program. This includes, but is not limited to, recruiting, training, mentoring student-athletes, and administrative tasks. Helps foster an environment that promotes the physical, mental, and academic growth of the players.Essential tasks and Responsibilities: Coaching and Player Development: » Assists in planning and conducting practice sessions. » Provides individual and group instruction focused on skill development and team strategy during games, practice, and training sessions. » In partnership with the Interim Head Coach evaluates player performance and provides feedback. Administration: » Assists in organizing and managing team logistics, including travel arrangements and equipment. » Provides support in the developing and implementing game strategies. » Fosters a positive and inclusive team environment. General Requirements: » Prior practice in coaching and playing soccer, preferably at the high school or college level preferred. » Possess solid organizational, interpersonal, and leadership abilities expertise. » knowledge of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules and regulations. » capability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends is required. » Physical General Requirements: capability to lift moderately heavy items (up to 30 lbs.) and stand, bend and stoop for extended periods of time. » A valid New York State driver's license is required. » Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication expertise. » The capability to foster and enhance a thriving, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community, while promoting a sense of belonging among students, alumni, faculty, and staff colleagues.
