Food Service Worker/CookPOSITION OVERVIEWFood Service Worker/Cook - Albany, NYthis job offer is for a Full time Cook on our Albany campus. The position is responsible for food preparation and maintaining all aspects of food preparation and clean up in conformity with all health and sanitary codes. Responsibilities » Maintain all requirements set forth in the health and sanitary codes » Responsible for operation and upkeep of dishwashing room and equipment » Be responsible for cleanliness of work area and equipment following established cleaning procedures » Keep clean and filled all condiment dispensers » Wash dishes, pots and utensils. » Clean food service areas and equipment as assigned. » Assist in food preparation and prepare meals as assigned. » Prepare tables for meals according to guidelines » Prepare special requests as required. Prepare and pack all meals for scheduled fieldtrips and cookout and provide support as needed. » Serve food EDUCATION and/or practice High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be able to read and write with skill to execute all job tasks. 1 year of practice preferred.
