adjunct to the Chief Operation agentJOB DESCRIPTIONIndependent Living, Inc., a progressive and dynamic cross-discapability services organization and a leader in the provision of peer services in the Hudson Valley region is seeking to hire an adjunct to the Chief Operating agent (COO) in Newburgh.As the adjunct to the Chief Operating agent (COO) you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations running smoothly, creating reports, participating in meetings, among other operational tasks. adjunct to the Chief Operating agent (COO) will also supervise the front desk. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred or commensurate practice. Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply. tasks AND RESPONSIBILITIES: » Assists COO in ensuring the day-to-day operations of the organization run smoothly. » Regularly participate in meetings as directed by COO. Takes minutes/ agreements as needed. » Attends and takes minutes for monthly Board of Director meetings and monthly Most Integrated Setting Coordinating Council- Community Services subcommittee meetings (virtual). » Serves as an interface between the COO and outside agents. » Providers guidance, coaching, and assistance to program directors, managers, and staff as needed in the absence of the COO or at the direction of the COO. » Manages the COOs calendar and coordinates meetings. » Handles telephone calls, mail, and correspondence. » Creates reports: » Weekly and monthly program statistical reports. » Weekly staff time reports. » Contributes to bi-annual ACCES-VR reports (statistical and narrative). » Tracks and reports on MWBE spending for certain contracts. » Coordinates consumer satisfaction surveys. » Creates and maintains contract spreadsheet along with hard copies of each contract. » Assists in the execution of new contracts and the re-credentialing of existing ones as needed. » Backup the Compliance Specialist as internal Foothold helpdesk. » Creates presentations as needed. » Manages the Front Desk Receptionist including providing lunch and time off coverage as needed. » Assists in the supervision of the Custodial staff for our Newburgh offices building and grounds. Follows up with vendors as needed. » Participate in the coordination and implementation of new software programs. » The above list of responsibilities is not intended to be all inclusive, other responsibilities and/or training may be assigned or required.
