Group Home RNLooking for professional / skilled RNs for a client near Hawthorne. This is a full time, 12 week contract with potential to turn into a long term function, with all shifts available.Great hands-on practice working in a clinical setting. Weekly paycheck! Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse: » Administering medical care and prescribed treatments to patients » Bedside nursing » Medication administration via G/J tubes » Nebulizer treatments » Nephrostomy care » Wound care » End-of-life support » Telephone triage of minor nursing issues » Coordinating referrals to the medical home or private healthcare provider » Auditing of staff documentation and care » Serving as a liaison between patient, family, community and healthcare providers to advocate for health care and a healthy environment Requirements of the Registered Nurse: » 6 months of nursing practice » Current NYS RN License in good standing » OPWDD and Homecare practice a plus » Medical malpractice insurance » Must meet all other medical compliance guidelines » Must have organization expertise and be familiar with EMR system Compensation for the Registered Nurse The starting income for this job offer is $50 hourly.
