Evenings and Every Other Weekend
Program: Residential Treatment Facility
Number of Openings: .5
Status: Part-Time shifts available, differential paid for evenings, nights, weekends, holidays.

The Full-time Registered Nurse We are pursuing for the Residential Treatment and Day Treatment programs would be located in Albany, NY. You will work with a team of dedicated professionals providing care and treatment to the clients we serve. As an RN on staff, you should feel comfortable communicating with families, providers, and social workers in order to meet the needs of this population.

ESSENTIAL tasks AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
   » supervise dispensation of medications and report/discuss observed side effects or other concerns with consulting psychiatrist.
   » Instruct residential counselor staff with regard to the dispensation of medications as necessary.
   » Provide training to residential counselor staff regarding reporting and recording of observed behaviors and possible side effects relating to medications.
   » Complete health evaluations as needed and supervise treatment of clients' medical conditions.
   » Complete clinical record/medical documentation in a timely and thorough manner.
   » Aid with new intakes with regard to admission packet/procedures.
   » Provide Monthly Medication Education to the youth being served in the residence
   » Attend Medication Reviews with consulting psychiatrists to provide consistency of care for our young people.
   » Assure that all necessary medications are available to the youth at assigned times. This would include ordering of medications in a timely manner.

Qualifications
   » Active and valid New York State RN licensure
   » CPR Certification
