Your function will involve setting the standard for exemplary customer service, managing guest complaints effectively, and superviseing various operational and sales activities to optimize guest satisfaction and revenue. Guest Services Manager Qualifications required » Previous practice in hospitality or guest services preferred. » Strong leadership abilities and communication expertise. » Exceptional problem-solving abilities. » Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends. » A passion for delivering exceptional guest practices. » Proficiency in A/V equipment is a plus. Guest Services Manager Key Responsibilities: Guest Services: » Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service. » Train and mentor staff on upselling techniques. » Skillfully handle guest complaints, turning challenges into opportunities to gain trust and loyalty. » Implement effective yield management and packaging strategies. » Collaborate with third-party travel sites to maximize exposure. » Create and execute a WOW program to delight guests. » Conduct interviews for potential future staff members. Operational Activities: » Prepare housekeeping sheets and ensure all guest needs are met for the day. » Coordinate and provide service for conferences and social groups, including A/V setup. » Collaborate with maintenance to resolve guestroom issues promptly. Sales Activities: » Promote and enhance restaurant sales. » Lgain and engage in the group, wedding, and banquet sales process. » Cultivate local business and corporate partnerships. » Manage the local negotiated rate (LNR) program for schools. » Attend beneficial local Chamber events. » Stay informed about competitive offerings.
