ESSENTIAL tasks AND RESPONSIBILITIES: TheChief Operating agent (COO) is responsible for the oversight and direction of the following operations departments at Woodland Pond: Environmental Services Facilities (Plant Ops) Concierge & Communication Services (Res Life) Dining Services IT and Cybersecurity Compliance The COO will be responsible for fiscal oversight including expense control, preparation and execution of staffing plans, budgets and monthly financial analyses, and the operation of each department to meet established business goals. this job offer requires entrepreneurial leadership abilities, oversight, support, and the prosperous team-building development of multiple Directors Previous leadership abilities practice in Senior Living is required. The COO will work with each Director to establish individual and departmental goals, key performance indicators (?KPIs?), quality metrics, risk inventory and mitigation plans, and other materials deemed necessary to formalize operations consistently across departments The COO will collaborate with the Director of Long Term Care to ensure that the needs of the Woodland Pond Quality Assurance and Performance Initiative (QAPI) program are met The COO will ensure regulatory compliance and compliance with all applicable laws and best practices. The COO will attend regularly scheduled meetings with each Director, including periodically attending those resident meetings that each Director is responsible for The COO takes ownership of quality, care, resident satisfaction, and employee satisfaction in the departments for which the COO is responsible Actively participates in the rotating Manager on Duty Program Completes all required trainings and in-services Performs all other tasks, as assigned QualificationsQualificationsA bachelor's degree is required in health administration, or an acceptable equivalentMinimum two years of senior living practiceCommitment to conduct becoming of a senior living C-suite executive, including a mindfulness to conduct in public and on social media. This is a front-facing position that demands a healthy respect for the expectations of seniors and their loved onesDemonstrated expertise of the appropriate expertise for communicating with individuals of all ages, especially the geriatric populationFamiliarity with the changing needs of senior living Skills:
