Job Summary The Travel Compliance Specialist will maintain and administer the enterprise travel & expense system, ensure compliance with Rensselaer's Travel and Entertainment Policies/Procedures as well as government-accountable plan regulations, and assist with reconciling travel related accounts. The Travel Compliance Specialist will develop and provide training to campus constituents, identify areas for continuous improvement and work on special projects with E-business leadership abilities. Minimum Qualifications » Bachelor's Degree in a related field » Three (3) years of progressively responsible practice significant combinations of education, training and practice may be considered. Preferred Qualifications » practice with travel and expense systems » practice in information systems or accounting » practice with report writing and/or ERP Systems » practice with public speaking and presenting training via demonstrations or hands on formats Minimum expertise, expertise, and Abilities » Proficiency with Microsoft Office » Must exhibit excellent analytical expertise » capability to independently solve problems and be flexible » High level of attention to detail, capability to multi-task » Demonstrated capability to work with others in large complex projects » Must exhibit excellent communication and presentation expertise » Excellent verbal, written, and organizational expertise » Self-motivated and possess the capability to set priorities and when to seek clarification » Outstanding interpersonal expertise with a commitment to exceptional customer service Shift Business Hours: Monday - Friday TravelLocal travel between campus locations only Driving No Driving Application instructions Follow the on-screen prompts to create a brief online profile.
