We offer an excellent income, benefits and perks.Job Details Job Job location: Woodland Pond Inc - New Paltz, NY Employment type: Full Time income Range: $25.00 - $27.00 Hourly Job Shift: Day Job Job Category: Health Care DescriptionPosition Summary The Maintenance Technician performs maintenance related skilled, semi-skilled and non-skilled tasks working with other staff and independently The majority of the tasks performed by this job offer will be outside ESSENTIAL tasks AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*CF indicates Critical Function) Completes Work Order information and other required logs on Worxhub using provided tablets and computers (*CF) Works alone and/or with others performing maintenance tasks and work orders Communicates to managers and other staff about assigned work Completes all required training and in-services ?Owns? functionality of all exterior maintenance equipment, materials, workspace, and vehicles All other tasks as assigned EXAMPLE ESSENTIAL TASKS - Maintenance Tech is to be able to independently complete tasks similar to these in a timely manner and has broad practice doing so in an exterior (and interior) work environment. Included in completing each task is selecting tools, materials and equipment needed for the task: Performs routine grounds litter and appearance policing Maintains water features, awnings, railings, trails, etc. Maintains readiness of all equipment, vehicles, work space and materials used for exterior maintenance work Provides information on prioritization of exterior maintenance tasks to managers Performs grounds care as needed, to include planting beds, lawn, shrubs, etc Performs exterior maintenance tasks alone and with assistance Makes runs to the dump and recycle centers as needed Informs managers when assistance is needed Perform miscellaneous grounds tasks, including participating in snow removal operations during scheduled shift and as needed Completes assigned related maintenance tasks inside when needed or weather prevents outside work Assists other Maintenance staff as requested GENERAL expertise AND ABILITIES Maintains high standards for work areas, attitude and appearance Understands that honesty and ethics are essential in the performance of tasks Willing to lgain and grow Demonstrates maturity in judgment and behaviors Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays Maintains predictable and reliable attendance, including making necessary plans for things that may come up that would prevent you from being at work for your scheduled shift on time, wearing the appropriate uniform as assigned QualificationsQualificationsHigh school diploma, or HSE Must have demonstrated working expertise maintenance type workValid NYS driver's licenseExcellent customer service and verbal communication expertisecapability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, memos, and instruction manualsDemonstrated capability to operate a computer and function with work order softwarecapability to multitaskDemonstrated expertise of appropriate expertise for communicating with individuals of all ages, especially the geriatric population Skills:
