The Army ROTC program has two phases: a basic course, normally taken during the freshman and sophomore years, and an advanced course, normally taken during the junior and senior years. Job Summary The Administrative Associate provides general administrative and operational support for the Army Reserve agents' Training Corps (ROTC) unit. The Administrative associate is responsible for assisting visitors, answering the telephone, maintaining databases and files, and assisting with events. Minimum Qualifications » High school degree or equivalent » Two (2) or more years related administrative practice significant combination of education, training, and practice may be substituted for the above qualifications. Minimum expertise, expertise, and Abilities » Excellent in person, telephone and electronic customer service expertise » capability to operate office equipment including multi line phone, copiers, fax machine, printers, etc. » expertise of alpha/numeric filing systems » Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) » capability to manage conflicting priorities and the demands of internal and external constituencies in a professional and calm manner » capability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality » capability to work with diverse populations in a team environment » Planning, organizing and effective time management expertise » capability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives » Excellent problem-solving expertise » capability to plan and organize work » capability to work independently and as part of a team Shift Business Hours: Monday - Friday TravelLocal travel between campus locations only Driving Driving a personal vehicle for non-passenger use Starting income/Rate Expected hiring range: $17.45 - $19.00 per hour (40 hours per week, 12 months per year) Pay transparency disclosure: The selected candidate's income will be determined located on factors that include the available budget, internal equity, and the final candidate's qualifications, practice, education and other job-related credentials.
