Bus DriverJOB DESCRIPTIONSchool Bus Driver - Schenectady, NYThis is a full-time position 7am - 4pm w/1 hour lunch this job offer comes with full benefits and a generoustime off package! As a Bus Driver, you will perform essential tasks outlined below and provide general support in other areas of Support Services department as needed. You will report to the Transportation Coordinator. Responsibilities: » You will provide the safe transportation of students to school and other multiple appointments. » Follow all safety rules, transportation laws and regulations. » Complete safety inspections of Agency vehicles. » Complete all State, Federal, Agency, DMV, DOT, SED paperwork. » Maintain the cleanliness of the bus. Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs for repair. » Perform other job related responsibilities as assigned. Education and practice » High School Diploma or GED required. » Must pass yearly DOT physical. » 6 months practice in a similar position, with good work history. » CDL License with the Passenger and School Bus endorsements. » Must be registered through the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Clearinghouse (FMCSA).
