Program Coordinator-Intensive Aftercare

POSITION OVERVIEW

Program Coordinator - Castleton, NY
Relocation Package available within New York State!

Northern Rivers is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Intensive Aftercare and avoidance Program (IAPP) and Juvenile Fire Safety Program (JFSS) in our Castleton office serving Rensselaer County. IAPP is a home-located program assisting families who have children in foster care or children who are at risk of being placed in foster care. JFSS is a home-office-community- located program that provides fire setting assessments and treatment for children (and their families) who have exhibited fire setting behaviors. The Program Coordinator will supervise four IAPP teams of a clinician and clinical case manager (8 people) and two clinicians offering JFSS services.
this job offer does require a Master's level candidate who possesses a Clinical License or who is license eligible.

What a Program Coordinator can expect at Northern Rivers:
   » Assure that the program operates according to local, state, and federal regulations.
   » Provide weekly direct supervision to staff providing services to clients. Complete annual staff evaluations.
   » Communicate with counties that provide funding and referrals to the program
   » Enter referrals and other required information into client data base.
   » Complete monthly billing and utilization reports.
   » Complete monthly, quarterly, and/or annual reports as required by county.
   » Review staff documentation and client data base to ensure accuracy and completion of requirements.
   » Review client charts quarterly to ensure client records meet Agency and funding source requirements.
   » Provide coverage for family cases when there are staff openings
   » Hire and provide staff with orientation to the position as well as continuing training in order to effectively meet the needs of clients

Your practice and qualification:
   » Licensure or licensure eligibility is required
   » Master's degree in psychology, sociology, social work, or related field is required
   » LMSW, LMHC, LCSW or LCSW-R is Preferred
   » Minimum of 3 years' practice post Master's Degree
   » Valid, clean driver's license with less than 6 points required
