Do you like to build relationships and develop connections with people? Are you motivated to find ways to brighten our communities by expanding and exploring storytelling, heritage, and community building? Do you take pride in the broad expanse of expertise that different cultures bring to the province of Saskatchewan?

At the Museums Association of Saskatchewan (MAS), we are working to hire a more inclusive body of employees to help us focus on all the cultures and traditions of Treaty people in our province. MAS's work and support reaches the lands covered by Treaties 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 & 10, the traditional lands of the nhiyawak, Anihinpk, Dakota, Lakota, and Nakoda, and the Metis Michif Nation.

We are pursuing a full-time, permanent Community Engagement Lead to join our team. The Community Engagement Lead is an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and relationship-building expertise, capable of working effectively with individuals from a wide variety of communities and cultures.

Our Community Engagement Lead helps museums across the province continue developing their services, expanding their outreach, and finding new paths to build new connections in their communities. They are passionate about culture, including arts and heritage, and excited to assist members all over the province as we work to continually broaden community engagement with their museums stories and collections. We constantly work to help our members expand and develop our collective cultural expertise of both tangible and intangible heritage. We are seeking for an individual with communication and social media management expertise who loves to work with people, brainstorm for ideas, and help cultural organizations continually grow.

If this sounds interesting to you, apply to join our team and help MAS grow.
