OverviewHudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of IT Help Desk manager. Primary Function: Manage the operations and staffing of the Help Desk and Credit Union ATM systems. Respond to and address staffmember support needs as they relate to end user information technology systems and ATM systems. Coordinate user maintenance processes on credit union systems that the Help Desk is responsible for maintain.
Responsibilities» Monitor Help Desk activities to ensure service standards and objectives are met and maintained. Works with Credit Union departments and vendors to ensure prompt problem resolution.
» Ensure system user maintenance is completed in a timely and accurate manner across all systems the Help Desk is responsible for.
» Conduct system user maintenance audits with the assistance of Internal Audit and Information Security to ensure accuracy of system user maintenance.
» Interface with the rest of the IT Systems group and the IT department to ensure support processes are aligned with the operation of internal systems.
» Act as the primary troubleshooter and liaison for telecommunications service disruptions working with other IT staff and/or third party vendors to resolve issues.
» Coordinate ATM and teller cash machine purchases, upgrades and servicing. Ensures vendors adhere to service level agreements.
» Provide input on revising department procedures and ensures that policies are followed by staff.
» Conduct regular department meetings to provide staff with updated department and Credit Union initiatives.
» Interviews hires and develops Help Desk staff.
» Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained expertise. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned.

» Responsible for regular and predictable attendance including punctuality.
Qualifications» Associate's Degree in Information Technology or related field or at least 2 years equivalent practice for each undergraduate year not completed required; undergraduate degree cannot substitute for minimum number of years of practice.
» Minimum 3 years related practice in information technology required
» Minimum 1 year practice with help desk operations preferred
» Minimum 1 year practice with telecommunications systems preferred
» Minimum 1 year practice with major network operating systems and topologies preferred
» Minimum 1 year practice supporting ATM hardware preferred
